This program didn’t work and the company refused to give me a refund. This video was obviously put on Youtube by the company. It’s a stinking commercial. DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM.

PrevX Edge now works with Windows 7 64. I’m testing it with Firefox, Kaspersky, and Comodo Firewall. No problems yet.

I use Prevx 3.0 all features enabled along with ESET Smart Security 4 (NOD32.) Doesn’t get any better than that. I’m ultra-secure. ^_^

You’re a Partner, Why not make an Awesome Banner? :D

Ye I know avira will block most things but I just want a second opinion if you will just in case. And thanks I will try Drive Sentry out, never knew about it.

  • Anonymous says:

Most likely. However, I WOULDN’T!! Avira Premium Security will stop 99% of Anything that tries to get in. You simply don’t need it. What’s more, Prevx cost $. Drive Sentry 3.3.0.4 has all the features and Performance of Prevx and is FREE!! Drive Sentry also works alongside Avira usually with NO conflicts. It makes no sense to spend money when you don’t have to. Enjoy Drive Sentry.

    @ldolpurist:
So I could have this running along side avira premium security and have no conflicts?

  • Anonymous says:

    idem..you have serial?’ pleaseeeeeeeeee

I stand corrected….mostly. You are right, PrevX is meant as a full functioning AV/AM. It certainly has the features and the capabilities. Still, if it were truly meant to be a main AV with AM, it wouldn’t work alongside the well known AV programs. It does as far as I know. Sure, there are conflicts with Some AVs, but not most. I, for one, would not trust ANY single AV solution. Especially one that’s been “perfected” only in the last 10 months. I love PrevX, but not exclusively.

    LONG LIVE PREVX CSI!

  • Anonymous says:

one problem…when I search for it, it says it can’t find it and refuses to jump to the file’s location..what then?

  • Anonymous says:

Sorry, Prevx IS a full AV / AM. Im a core associate of an international research group concerned with malware and security and can confirm Prevx is about as good as it gets at covering all threats.

hey everybody it’s Matt with remove dash malware . com

i have heard that many times now,,

  • Anonymous says:

    5/5 FOR ME HAHAHAHA

  • Anonymous says:

lol I KNOW HOW TO TAKE VIRUS FROM UR PC USING PREVX REALLY EASY FIRST SCAN THEN THEY WILL SHOW WHERE THE VIRUS IS LOCATED THEN GO RUN AND SEARCH FOR THE VIRUS LOCATION AND DELETE ->EX: C:\windows\system\BABVIRUS

I recently spoke to another poster on one of Matt’s videos who had Eset NOD and it let thru a Trojan Downloader. ANY AV can let thru a piece of Malware. Which quickly leads to more Malware.
I am a Comodo Freak since Day 1. Tho I prefer Drive Sentry 3.3.0.4 for HIPS + AM backup protection. Avast on the front line. I use Comodo Firewall for its Buffer Overflow feature. I turned off Defense+. U didn’t say if U had an AM alongside Avast. EVERYONE Must Have an AM alongside their AV. 2B sure.

Ditch Avast!. I tested it in virtual machine. It done pretty good until it let in a trojan downloader. Few minutes later my pc was destroyed with rogue software. Now I gotta re-install windows. I recommend COMODO, its the only one that blocks rogue software. Avast! Just let everything in once that trojan downloader came, it did find some stuff but it said “Unable to remove because its loaded in memory” OR something like that. And no, it wasn’t talking about the rogue software.

I respect Kaspersky’s effectiveness. Not their price. They want $ for Everything. Many AV Cos offer at least a few freebies. Kas offers almost nil.
Great program tho. I have the equivalent and then some with : Avast + Drive Sentry + Spywareblaster(a killbit program). All Real-Time Protection. SAS Free I use once a month for On-Demand scans. There is no need to PAY for AV/AM software. The BEST stuff is FREE! Avira and Rising are also excellent front line AVs. Me Cheap.

kaspersky has never let me down.

Ha! I just took my Comodo Firewall off Paranoid!
Me love Comodo like Lindsay Lohan loves Cocaine. My Firewall has been driving me nuts cause it keeps blocking certain Windows traffic intermittently. As much as I love them, if this keeps up, I will switch to another free firewall.
I can’t bleeve I just said that, but I did. I just recently chatted with Melih, Comodo’s CEO and told him how much I love the company.
I just can’t seem to figure out this latest firewall. Shame.

I have decided to just always put comodo internet security on a clean system and use it to protect me with it set to “paranoid”.

Prevx3.0 and other Antimalware apps are NOT a replacement for a full AV product. They are meant as a supplement. While no AV or AM is 100%, Prevx is darn close. So is Drive Sentry 3.3.0.4.
ALWAYS have a top 5 AV as your 1st line of defense. Kaspersky, AVG, Avira & Norton are well known to have conflicts with other security products. Avast, ESET NOD32, & Mcafee are just the opposite. You shud never have run Prevx alone. Kaspersky and AVG OFTEN have conflicts with other programs. Meanies.

  • Anonymous says:

    @Ldolpurist…

Sorry but Prevx3.0 allowed Virut infection on my machine (even with settings on high) and you can’t install other AV software when they refuse to install or work because they detect you have Prevx installed (Kaspersky).

Prevx used to be very good at prevention much like Defense+ in COMODO but not anymore ever since they tried to be simple and automatic for newbies.

    Buy the product.

This version of Prevx and the new Prevx 3.0 can safely be run alongside your Antivirus without conflict. Prevx is an Antimalware app in the same vein as Comodo BOClean and Threatfire. However, Prevx’ tiny size and Incredible performance (PCMag April 2009 Editor’s Choice), make it better than most antimalwares out there, Cutting edge, Cloud Based, and lightning fast scans make this product a winner. Sadly, BOClean 4.7 will be discontinued as of 5.26.09.
